<p>Love Sucks was  recently named Best Production of a Comedy by the L.A. Scenie Awards,  and Backstage Mag...azine hailed it as "90 minutes of down and  dirty fun!"</p>
<p>PFP Artistic Associate John Nasca directs the  comedy, which features PFP Artistic Ensemble members Valerie Heckman,  Cyra K. Polizzi, Chad Ryan, Kevin Webb, and guest artists Edward Fraim  and Adam Habben.</p>

<p>E.M. Forster's novel Maurice was written in 1913,  but only published after the author’s death in 1971, as it follows  Maurice Hall from school days, through University, and beyond. Roger  Parsley and Andy Graham’s remarkably faithful adaptation brings all the  contradictions of love in this period alive in a work about family,  loyalty, and love.</p>

<p>The musical which is being written by R.J. Nestor and David Scoville takes place in New York city during the 1920's.  A backstage story about a young girl who survived the sinking of the Titanic and now dreams of becoming a star in the new talkie movies.</p>
