Mr. Shaw Goes to Hollywood

John Nasca is now project manager for 7 time Emmy Award winner Mark Saltzman's mid-west premier of his play, Mr. Shaw Goes to Hollywood.  A true story about George Bernard Shaw's visit to the M.G.M studios in 1933.   While there, a luncheon was given for he and Mrs. Shaw by hostess Miriam Davies.  The guests included, Clark Gable, John Barrymore, William Randolph Hearst and Louis B. Mayer.  The plot centers on Miriam's attempt to talk Mr Shaw into letting  her play the role of Eliza in the film version of Pygmalion.

The LA Times called it a "vivacious, sprightly comedy"
